President Joe Biden has officially called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “war criminal.”
The move comes after multiple outlets and politicians used the term, but until now, Biden has avoided it.
The move is a new level in the intensity in the feud between the two countries as Putin continues to bombard Ukraine.
Some commenters have argued that “war crimes” are a tough designation especially for American presidents who in some views commit the same atrocities.
