The Associated Press is reporting that former Soviet Leader Mikhail Gorbachev has died at the age of 92.
Mikhail Gorbachev was the last leader of the Soviet Union as it transitioned from communism to capitalism.
Gorbachev — who helped end the cold war — died after battling a “long and serious illness.”
He went on to win a Nobel Peace Prize in 1990 for helping bring the Cold War to an end.
