GOP Senator Mitch McConnell has been hospitalized after a fall during a private dinner in the District of Columbia.
Fox News reports that the Senate Minority Leader suffered the injury in a hotel but the extent of his injuries are unknown.
During a fall in August of 2019, the 81-year-old Senator McConnell suffered a fractured shoulder.
His team released the following statement:
“This evening, Leader McConnell tripped at a local hotel during a private dinner. He has been admitted to the hospital where he is receiving treatment.”
