Head of CNN Announces Kaitlin Collins to Move to Primetime

Kaitlan Collins will reportedly begin hosting CNN’s 9 p.m. hour in June after the network’s CEO Chris Licht was impressed with her performance moderating a town hall with former President Donald Trump.

Collins, who has hosted CNN This Morning since November, will transition to prime time, Licht formally stated.

The 31-year-old journalist’s promotion marks the culmination of a spectacular rise in recent months.

CNN makes it official: Kaitlin Collins will inherit Chris Cuomo’s 9pm time slot next month, leaving only Poppy Harlow on the recently (and unsuccessfully) revamped CNN morning show.
