The Israeli army has now officially invaded Lebanon.
The move comes in the wake of several weeks of brutal Israeli attacks on its archenemy Hezbollah’s forces which culminated in the assassination of its leader Hassan Nassrallah on Friday.
Lebanon's economy minister tells Sky News that the Israeli "operations have started" and that he has heard Israeli troops "have been moving very rapidly".

The invasion marks a new phase of the Israel’s ever widening war against Iranian proxy forces on its border.
