Nancy Pelosi removed all doubt on Tuesday by landing in Taiwan amid threats by the Chinese Communist Party, AP reports.
Speaker Pelosi was reportedly considering visiting the disputed country during an official trip to Asia.
The stop was put in doubt amid reports that it could escalate tensions with China and threats to shoot down her plane from China.
Despite the threats, the Biden administration cowered to the communist regime and refused to respond in defense of the Democrat Speaker of the House.
Pelosi becomes the highest ranking United States official to visit the country in 25 years.
