A judge has now reportedly found former President Trump guilty of fraud, The Associated Press is reporting.
New York Supreme Court Judge Judge Arthur Engoron ruled Tuesday that Trump committed fraud by overvaluing assets and in turn defrauded banks, insurers, and others.
The case was brought in the form of a civil lawsuit by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Manhattan prosecutors declined to bring a criminal case over the same conduct.
